About Me
Word Nerd and Gadabout
I'm an unashamed word junkie. I love editing (yes, seriously). I've worked as an editor, writer, and translator for 25 years. Check out my LinkedIn page for more on my professional experience (and feel free to add me to your network!).
I've had a thing for typewriters since 1982.
I hold a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. I'm a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and Editors Canada. I've passed the Editors Canada Copyediting, Proofreading, Stylistic, and Structural certification exams to snag the Certified Professional Editor designation.
I enjoy stringing my own words together, too: I've written 3 novels that I'll own up to (with a couple more permanently banished to the back of a drawer) and numerous short stories. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia.

I'm a huge Toronto Blue Jays fan. I sometimes write about baseball on Razzball.
Find me on Twitter, where I'm probably posting terrible puns.
